London Eye

After lunch we went on the London Eye, which is a glorified Ferris wheel. It is on the river Thames and has a good view of the city, especially Big Ben since it is right across the river. Riders enter a big glass capsule and enjoy a ride that takes 30 minutes for the capsule to go all the way around. The wheel itself never stops, there is a ramp that is attached and you walk on or off while it is moving very slowly. The view was amazing! The House of Parliament and Big Ben were just across the river. The Shard was just a little ways away. St. Paul's Cathedral was in picture range. We also saw Westminster Abbey. Please enjoy the pictures! We had fun taking them. (and the lighting was perfect!)
