The Royal Observatory

The main attraction at the Royal Observatory is the Prime Meridian line. We went there on the 14th. From the road the Observatory is about a half a mile away. It is on a steep hill that you must walk up to get to. When you go down your momentum can make you run without effort. The line is the 0' 00'' longitude line. It is where all time zones are calculated from. It is the Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT). We straddled the line and were in two different hemispheres, east and west. Enjoy!!!
