Windsor Castle

The last tour that we went on was a morning Windsor Castle tour. We finally boarded and rode in a double-decker bus. When we arrived, I just had 3 letters: W O W. Windsor Castle is huge. The castle is right in the middle of the town of Windsor. The castle's stone work is stunning. We toured the royal State Apartments and Semi-State rooms, which are lavishly furnished with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection.
We next visited Queen Mary's Dolls' House, which is a mini replica of an aristocratic home. It is fully functional, including plumbing and electricity. It has its own mini wine cellar full of real wine. It contains miniature scale paintings, furniture, and books written by or made by the original artists. The Dolls' House also exhibited doll clothing given to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret from the finest couture houses in Paris.
Lastly, we went in St. Georges Chapel, a fine example of Gothic architecture. King Henry VIII is buried there. Please delight in our pictures, but no we were not permitted to photograph inside the castle.
